Liposomal Curcumin
The problem with ordinary curcumin
Curcumin — the active compound in turmeric — has been studied for decades for its role in supporting the body's antioxidant defenses and a healthy inflammatory response.
But there's a catch. Curcumin is almost insoluble in water. When you swallow a standard turmeric capsule, the curcumin clumps together in your gut, gets rapidly broken down by your liver, and is excreted before it ever reaches your cells. Studies estimate that as little as 1% of standard oral curcumin makes it into circulation.
How liposomal delivery solves it
Liposomes are microscopic spheres made of phospholipids — the same material that forms every cell membrane in your body. Encapsulating curcumin inside a phospholipid bilayer achieves four things:
- Solubility. Curcumin embeds into the lipid bilayer, dispersing easily in water.
- Protection. The bilayer shields curcumin from stomach acid and digestive enzymes.
- Absorption. Liposomes can enter the lymphatic system, partially bypassing rapid liver metabolism.
- Cellular delivery. Liposomes can fuse with cell membranes — delivering curcumin directly to where it acts.
Why dry liposomal
Most liposomal supplements come as liquids that need refrigeration, taste of lecithin, and lose potency over a few months on the shelf. Liposomal Power Curcumin uses dry liposomal technology — fully formed liposomes preserved in a stable powder, encapsulated for daily use. No refrigeration. No aftertaste.
What it supports*
